Competitive Leagues

Looking for a challenge and are tired of the same old rec dodgeball that is played in other leagues in Ottawa? Join our competitive leagues! We play in a smaller gym, with 6 x 7″ foam dodgeballs. Our rules are similar to the international style dodgeball rules.

Mixer League: Wednesday Nights (Co-ed, Adult)

Unfortunately we do not have a Spring mixer league. We will be doing a summer mixer league in the new year (2018).

The Mixer League is a different concept that incorporates aspects from both drop-in dodgeball and full league play. The idea is to play strategic dodgeball incorporating strong teamwork, but with a different variation of teams/teammates every week. I must emphasize that is not drop-in! The goal is to develop teamwork and play strategic, high-quality dodgeball against like minded players. This keeps the games different every week and allows you to see who you mesh well with for future leagues or tournaments.

Teams Teams will consist of 6-7 players
Start Date July 11-August 29, 2017
Time Wednesday Nights, 6:30pm to 10:30pm (games are scheduled for a 1.5 hour time block each week between these times)
Location 1000 Brookfield Rd (not Brookfield HS)
Cost (taxes are included) $50.00 / player
Registration Registration – OPENS June 15

Communal Reffing System

In order to keep costs low for everyone, we use a communal reffing system. All teams are scheduled to ref certain games throughout the season. If your team is scheduled to ref a game, two players from your team must be present to ref. The schedule is posted in advance so that all teams and captains can plan accordingly.
